Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1Haridwar to Barkot (210 km / 7 hrs)
Depart from Haridwar and drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. En route, enjoy the scenic Kempty Falls. Arrive in Barkot and check into your hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 2Barkot to Yamunotri & Return (40 km drive + 6 km trek each way)
Drive early to Janki Chatti. Start the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. Take a dip in Surya Kund, cook rice in the hot springs as prasad, and offer prayers. Trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot. Overnight in Barkot.
Day 3Barkot to Uttarkashi (82 km / 4 hrs)
Proceed to Uttarkashi. Check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the famous Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight in Uttarkashi.
Day 4Uttarkashi to Gangotri & Return (100 km drive each way)
Drive along the Bhagirathi River to Gangotri Temple. Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi, offer prayers, and explore the beautiful valley. Drive back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Day 5Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km / 8 hrs)
Drive from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi, traveling through scenic mountain routes and past the Tehri Dam. Arrive in Guptkashi and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 6Guptkashi to Kedarnath (30 km drive + 16 km trek)
Drive to Sonprayag and trek up to Kedarnath Temple. Check into your basic hotel/camps, and join the evening prayers. Overnight in Kedarnath.
Day 7Kedarnath to Guptkashi Return
Perform early morning darshan and trek back down to Gaurikund. Return by vehicle to Guptkashi for a comfortable hot dinner. Overnight in Guptkashi.
Day 8Guptkashi to Badrinath (190 km / 7 hrs)
Drive to Badrinath Temple via Joshimath. Check into your hotel. In the evening, take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund hot springs and visit the Badrinath Temple. Overnight in Badrinath.
Day 9Badrinath to Rudraprayag (160 km / 6 hrs)
Witness the morning prayers at Badrinath. Visit Mana Village (the last Indian village near Tibet border), Vyas Gufa, and Bhim Pul. Drive to Rudraprayag. Check into hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 10Rudraprayag to Haridwar (165 km / 6 hrs)
Drive to Rishikesh and see Lakshman Jhula. Proceed to Haridwar, check in to your hotel, and attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight in Haridwar.
Day 11Departure from Haridwar
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport for your onward journey.
