Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1Cochin Arrival & Sightseeing
Our representative will receive you on arrival at Cochin (Airport / Railway Station). Transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Fort Kochi, Mattancherry Palace, Jew Street, and see the Chinese Fishing Nets. Enjoy an optional Marine Drive sunset cruise, and visit the Ernakulathappan Temple or Edappally Church if time permits. Explore local markets and the famous Lulu Mall for shopping. Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 2Cochin to Munnar & Waterfalls
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and board the private transit arranged to head to Munnar (130 Km | 4 Hrs 30 Min). On the way, visit the beautiful Cheeyappara and Vallara Waterfalls (seasonal). Stop to admire the lush tea gardens along the winding mountain roads. Arrive in Munnar, check in to your resort, and relax. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3Munnar Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, proceed for full-day sightseeing in Munnar. Visit Mattupetty Dam (a vital hydroelectricity project and sanctuary for birds and animals), Kundala Lake (featuring picturesque landscapes and Asia's first Arch Dam), and Echo Point (offering stunning views of the Nilgiri Hills). In the afternoon, visit Top Station or Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park (home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr). You can also optionally visit Blossom Park and the Tea Museum. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4Munnar to Thekkady & Wildlife
After breakfast, check out and drive from Munnar to Thekkady (110 Kms | 3 Hrs 30 Min) through scenic cardamom and pepper plantations. Check in to your hotel. Visit the Periyar National Park, with options for a scenic boat cruise on Periyar Lake or an adventurous Jeep Safari. In the evening, optionally attend cultural programs like Kathakali dance or Kalaripayattu martial arts, or enjoy an elephant ride. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 5Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat Stay
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey/Kumarakom (180 Kms | 5 Hrs). Check in to your Deluxe Houseboat by 12:30 PM. Enjoy a traditional welcome drink and cruise through the calm backwaters of Alleppey. Witness the rural village life and palm-fringed canals. Enjoy fresh traditional Kerala meals (lunch, evening tea/snacks, and dinner) prepared by your onboard chef. Cruising continues till 5:00 PM, after which the houseboat anchors for the night. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 6Alleppey to Cochin & Departure
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast on the houseboat, then check out and proceed back to Cochin. Your private cab will drop you off at Cochin Airport or the Railway Station for your onward journey, leaving you with beautiful memories of Kerala.

What are the rules and timings for the Alleppey houseboat?
Check-in starts at 12:30 PM, and the backwater cruise runs until 5:00 PM, after which the boat is anchored as per Government rules. For Deluxe Houseboats, the air conditioning in the bedrooms is operational from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Guests are not permitted to sleep or sit outside after 10:30 PM.
